terms & how it works

• Your input is yours. You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a licence to process it to run and improve the service (see privacy).
• Discovery is informational. Listed products, manufacturers, prices, and reviews are AI-surfaced and may be approximate or out of date — verify before relying on them. We do not knowingly promote counterfeit or trademark-infringing products.
• Hybrids are concepts, not FTO-cleared designs. A suggested hybridisation may overlap existing patents or IP. Before building or selling, you are responsible for your own freedom-to-operate and patentability checks. Aakaar does not provide legal or IP advice.
• Don't submit content you don't have the right to share (others' confidential drawings, copyrighted material, etc.).

The cost graph is produced by a Cobb–Douglas production model — a transparent economic estimate from labour and capital elasticities, India-based contract-manufacturing rates, and an assumed selling price. It is indicative, not a binding quote.

• Real costs depend on final design, materials, tolerances, volumes, and supplier quotes.
• The prototyping quote (v0.3 / v0.45 / v0.9) covers material + process only — no design fee.
• A firm quote follows an engineering review; figures shown may change after that review.
• Prices are in INR and exclude GST (18%) unless stated.

Submitting a request registers your interest and shares your contact details with the Translead team so we can follow up. It is not an order until confirmed in writing.

If you choose the royalty listing option, your product node may be shown to other users whose intent is similar, weighted by a similarity score, and you receive a royalty on matched sales. You retain IP; we handle fulfilment. The exact rate and terms are confirmed in a separate agreement.
